See You At The Pole

This year, Student Council took over the "See You at the Pole". The high school classes met at the poles early in the morning to pray. One student reacted to the prayer time by saying, "This is, like, one of my favorite things to do.  'Cause public school does have 'See You at the Pole,' but it is different.  They don't have the freedom to do [as much as we do]." One of the teachers said: "Once it was started it was very good, and the chapel service went well. The students were in tuned and not squarely. Hoping for more students to come early next year." Mrs. Thompson and her choir class played a song, followed by the song Days of Elijah that the whole school participated in. Student Council President, Mason Anderson, gave a devotional and led the prayer. Please continue to pray for our school and nation.

Whats up ,Chuck ?

My sister Chidi claws me with her fingers,... what should i do?
                                                                                    - Amarachi Miller
Dear Amara, Well, in Judges 16:19 it shows that Delilah found that Sampson got his power from his hair. So Delilah cut it off. Maybe you should cut off your sister's fingers while shes sleeping. But in all seriousness ,Mathew 5:44 says to love your enemies , bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. So, treat others nicely, even if they do bad things to you.

whats up Chuck

"Amara, my sister is mean to me, what should I do?"-Chidi

Dear Chidi
Matthew 5:44 says "but I say to you love your enemies, bless those who curse you,do good for those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you."The bible says to love and pray for those who are mean to you . Another thing you could do is claw her in the face with your fingers. but that might not be a good idea. :)

                                                                                     that's what's up, love, Chuck

Coach Duffel

We want to welcome our new principal, Coach Duffel.  We asked him why he wanted to be called coach. He said that he had been a coach for so many years and that it was more comfortable to be called that. Coach Duffel taught and coached at James Island Christian School in the east coast before coming to B.C.A. His reason for applying for this job was that he thought it would be a great opportunity, and he felt that the school is a part of what God is doing. His favorite color is burgundy, and he loves Mexican food. He enjoys reading, sports, and fishing. He has a son in the army in Hawaii and a daughter in Springdale, Arkansas. Please continue to pray for him as we go throughout the school year. We are very blessed to have an amazing principal.
