Day three Scope's trial

Today we were planning on continuing with the court trial, however, Mr. Darrow seemed to see fit to make things difficult for everyone. When asked to pray, Mr. Darrow replied that he did not agree with praying before the trial, especially in front of the jury. The jury was not in the room at the time so this seemed like a meaningless objection to me. The judge has always made it a point to pray for guidance to make the right decisions in the trial that was about to happen. This seemed silly to me to disrespect the judge's commitment to prayer before the trial. This disagreement took up most of the day so we will have to continue the trial tomorrow. Hopefully and prayerfully, without any more unnecessary interruptions.
